4. Program Enrollment and Fees

Application Process

Admission to our programs is selective. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We evaluate applications holistically based on academic interests, motivation, and fit with our programs.

Program Fees

Program fees are listed on our website and are subject to change. Payment is due upon acceptance unless a payment plan has been arranged. Fees cover mentor compensation, curriculum materials, publication support, and administrative costs.

Refund Policy

Refund requests made within 14 days of program start and before significant mentor engagement may be eligible for a partial refund. After the 14-day period, no refunds will be issued. Contact us for specific circumstances.

5. Participant Responsibilities

As a program participant, you agree to:

• Dedicate the required time commitment (8-12 hours per week)
• Attend scheduled mentor meetings and complete assignments
• Conduct original research with academic integrity
• Communicate professionally with mentors and staff
• Submit work that is your own and properly cite all sources
• Respect intellectual property rights

6. Intellectual Property

Your Research

You retain ownership of the original research and content you create during the program. However, you grant Veritas Labs a non-exclusive license to use your work for promotional purposes (with your name credited) unless you request otherwise in writing.

Our Materials

All curriculum materials, training content, and resources provided by Veritas Labs remain our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without written permission.

7. Publication Disclaimer

While we strive to help all participants achieve publication, we cannot guarantee publication in any specific journal or venue. Publication outcomes depend on research quality, individual effort, and editorial decisions beyond our control. Our stated publication rates are based on historical data and represent average outcomes.

8. Mentor Relationship

Mentors are independent contractors engaged by Veritas Labs. While we carefully vet all mentors, they provide guidance based on their expertise and judgment. Veritas Labs is not responsible for specific advice given by mentors.

9. Academic Integrity

All participants must adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity. Plagiarism, fabrication of data, or other forms of academic misconduct will result in immediate dismissal from the program without refund. We reserve the right to report violations to your school or other relevant institutions.

10. Code of Conduct

Participants must maintain respectful and professional behavior. The following are prohibited:

• Harassment or discrimination of any kind
• Disruptive or disrespectful behavior toward mentors or staff
• Misrepresentation of your identity or qualifications
• Sharing confidential program information

11. Limitation of Liability

Veritas Labs and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the program.

13. University Affiliation Disclaimer

Veritas Labs is an independent educational organization. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any university. Our mentors may be affiliated with various institutions in their personal capacities, but such affiliations do not imply institutional endorsement of our programs.

14. Program Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your participation in the program for violation of these terms, academic misconduct, or failure to meet program requirements. You may withdraw from the program by providing written notice, subject to our refund policy.
